Everyone has their go-to place to shop for Christmas decorations, myself included. But oftentimes these places are the most well-known stores such as Amazon, Walmart, etc. If you are looking for ideas for unique places to shop for Christmas Decorations, I have a few spots that I have found over the years.
- Big Lots – Big lots is known by many, but is not as big as those mega retailers. You might not think of them when it comes to Christmas Decorations, but they usually have quite a big section for the holiday season. They have trees, lights, ornaments, and indoor and outdoor decorations.
- Thrift Stores – Thrift stores such as Goodwill or locally owned places are great spots to find Christmas decorations for cheap. I love when I find vintage decorations from thrift stores as well because they are even more unique.
- Macy’s – If you didn’t know, Macy’s has a lot of home-ware, and during the holidays season, this includes Christmas decorations. The best part is that they often have major sales during the season. You don’t have to wait until after Christmas to find major sales here.
- Home Shopping Networks – Channels like QVC and HSN start offering deals on Christmas decor as early as in July. They call it their “Christmas in July” event. Once in a while you can deals for bulk decorations – like string lights – here, but mostly you will be shown specialty pieces. While not overpriced, these aren’t usually cheap or low budget friendly. However, I love the fact that they show some truly unique pieces and even if you can’t buy them all, even just one will make for a great holiday showstopper.
That’s it for my favorite places to shop for Christmas decorations that you may not have thought of. I hope this list was helpful and inspires you to start looking around for some great deals and unique pieces. Have fun shopping!
